Meet the Team
Here at Timmis farming we have a hard-working and dedicated team of staff who muck in and get the job done. We are passionate about farming, innovating and adapting to an ever-changing environment.

Rob Timmis
Owner / Director
Rob oversees the day-to-day running of all aspects of the farm, he can be found anywhere from walking crops, tipping chicks or catching up in the office

Charlie Timmis
Owner / Director
Alongside being director of the farm business, Charlie manages the tenanted properties and also designs and makes bespoke curtains and upholstery in her studio based at the farmhouse

Dave Pugh
Arable Manager
Dave has worked for the team for over 15 years and manages the arable side of the business. He can be found in the office, out on the sprayer or looking after the grain drier during harvest

John Herbert
Poultry Manager
John came to the farm in 2019 with limited agricultural experience after serving 17 years in the military. He is now our poultry manager and can be found in the chicken sheds day or night, as well as helping out on the arable side during harvest

Connie Sansom
Estates & Transport Manager
Connie joined the team in 2022 and enjoys a varied role from gardening, mowing and chopping logs to lambing sheep and looking after horses. She also helps out on the chicken site and most recently became the farm's transport manager for the haulage side of the business

Mark Gregory
Cultivator & Drillman
Mark is a new addition to the team and has proven himself to be a hard-working and a great team player. He specialises in drilling and cultivation so is especially busy during this season

James Bloor
Arable Operator
James is a dedicated member of the team specialising in driving the chaser bin during harvest and he is also a precision hedge-cutter. He can often be found jet washing and adding accessories to his tractor

Henry Jones-Perrott
Poultry Assistant Manager / Arable Operator
Henry originally started as a seasonal worker at harvest time, but enjoyed it so much that he stayed to work full-time! He now works on both the poultry and arable sides of the business, usually walking the chicken sheds in the morning and helping out on the farm in the afternoon

Tom Roycroft
Combine / sprayer driver
Tom is a key member of the team, with the very important role of driving the combine during the summer months. He can also be found spraying the fields when the weather is right, tinkering in the workshop or fitting new accessories to the sprayer
